There may be some good news for all of the Mummers out there. Per Fox 29 Philadelphia, A major announcement is expected on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 that will “help support and preserve the Mummers tradition for years to come.” I will post the information as I receive it.

I THINK CHANGING THE PARADE ROUTE IS TOTALLY AGAINST ALL TRADITIONS OF THE MUMMERS AND ALL OF SOUTH PHILADELPHIA WHERE THE MUMMERS WERE BORN. SHAME ON THE MUMMERS PARADE COMMITTEE AND ALL WHO DECIDED TO CHANGE THE PARADE ROUTE.
