   In my own opinion South Philadelphia deserved 1st place. In all the string band divison just gets more competitive every year. Great job everybody and thank you for all the hard work that goes into a performance . I Tip my Cap. Please I’m not putting any 1 string band down. You all are Amazing and do a great job year in year out. Thank you for the memories. I’m 47 years old and still get excited for every Jan 1st like a child at Christmas time seeing Santa to hear that amazing sound of a string band on New Years Day.

   Question? Fancy brigade’s performs in the convention center every year . Why cant the String Bands bring back there Show of Show at the new convention Center like old times. Where they would perform friday -Sunday like they did in the old convention center. They can use that same setup as the Fancy Brigades.

   South Philadelphia was good but their choreography was off. I liked them but sorry they didn’t compare in music or choreography to Fralinger. I have no vested interest as any of the bands and am looking at them objectively. To be an effective judge you can’t let your bias rule you. Just because you don’t like a theme doesn’t mean you can’t look at the technical aspects. And you can’t let heart felt back stories sway you. Woodland was better than S. Philly and Quaker City.

   Who was judging the stringband division? This is supposed to be who was the best not who has the saddest story. That was horrific judging. Franlinger and Ferko were robbed again. It is obvious those are the best two talented bands. It is what it is.

     Your right, it is what it is and South Philadelphia was the best this year hands down.

     You cannot be serious fralinger and ferko got exact sly what they deserved
