Mummers Parade officials and the city of Philadelphia decided that the 2018 Mummers Parade would go on as scheduled on January 1. The vote was 3-2. The city is planning to have heating tents and warm buses along the route for the Mummers. Accoring to Philly.com, the public will have access to a government building at 1515 Arch St. and the restaurant at Dilworth Park as warming spots. Also, the Kimmel Center will be open from 10am-5pm as a place to warm up.
Be sure to connect with MrMummer on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Also, visit MrMummer.com on New Year’s Day. We will be covering the entire parade and have photos, videos and the results from all 5 divisions.

We love the mummers! Our Cable does not cover the Philly mummers any more. But we would like to keep up with the organization. We hope to come down next year and spend a few days. Any helpful tips?

Hopefully all the clubs are prepared for every medical emergency. Designation of someone from every club in charge of defibrillators, nitro, aspirin, emergency warming blanket. Whatever is on the checklist for hypothermia should be immediately available for the young and the elderly.
