Do the string bands perfrom with full props like the judging area at the other performance stops?
whats the best hotel to stay at so you can watch them perform and use the hotel for the bathroom ect. last year we stayed at the Hyatt at The Bellevue and they just walked by. even the comics just walked by.
The only place with rooms that are right at a performance area is THE INN AT THE LEAGUE at the Union League of Philadelphia (Broad and Sansom St). I don’t think anything would be available, since Union League members usually book the rooms months in advance, but it’s worth a try. An alternative way to do it is to book any hotel you want. Get a spot on the street around Broad and Sansom St. because that is a String Band performance area and use the Kimmel Center to warm up and use the bathroom. FYI – All groups except the String Bands will perform at Broad and Pine this year.
