Top 5 Indian Themes
It’s Thanksgiving week in Philadelphia and we are all getting ready to spend time with family and fellow Mums and give thanks. Below is a list of my top 5 String Band Indian themes. Let me know in the comment section below what you would add to the list.
1. 1992 Fralinger String Band – Fralinger Has No Reservations
This year Frailinger came in 2nd place and took 1st prize for the Captain’s prize
2. 2013 Quaker City – Pow Wow
Quaker City came in 2nd place and took 5th place in the Captain’s prize.
3. 2010 South Philadelphia – Gathering of Nations
South Philadelphia came 4th place and took 5th place in the Captain’s prize.
4. 2001 Greater Kensington – The Tribe with Vibe
Greater Kensington came in 2nd place and took 1st place in the Captain’s prize.
5. 1995 Ferko – How the West was Fun
Ferko came in 2nd place and took 5th place in the Captain’s prize. Ferko repeated the same theme from 1988 when Durning String Band performed the same theme.
